A reimagined version of Dragon Quest I and II
DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D REMAKE is a premium RPG. It’s a remake of Dragon Quest I and II in the Erdrick trilogy, all packed in one bundle. In this game, the two legendary journeys were brought into one experience. Developed by Square Enix, it’s available on PCs and consoles.
DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D REMAKE is similar to games like CHRONO TRIGGER® and Octopath Traveler, which are both turn-based RPGs that let players embark on a traveling adventure wherein they can choose from various characters or expand the group of characters.
Play Dragon Quest I or II anytime
As DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D REMAKE combines Dragon Quest I and II, it offers two different stories. Here, players can either play Dragon Quest I or Dragon Quest II whenever they want by choosing their desired game. In Dragon Quest I, the peaceful Alefgard is once again disturbed as Dragonlord awakens and releases a group of monsters. As a player, it’s your mission to defeat these evils and rescue Alefgard.
Meanwhile, in Dragon Quest II, malicious monsters suddenly invade Alefgard, which means the throne of the young princes and princesses of Erdrick’s line is in danger. Here, it’s your task to ensure they can still inherit their ancestor’s legacy. As you journey through these two stories, you’ll face traditional turn-based battles. You can attack enemies using various weapons and release spells.
Furthermore, Dragon Quest I features two characters: Hero and Princess Gwaelin. Hero is the character who sets out to fight the Dragonlord while Princess Gwaelin is a missing princess who was kidnapped by the Dragonlord. Dragon Quest II features Prince of Midenhall, Prince of Cannock, Princess of Moonbrooke, and Princess of Cannock. However, despite the game having various characters, note that it doesn’t offer any character development features.
A must-try turn-based RPG
If you’d like to experience Dragon Quest I and II again, DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D REMAKE puts you into these two legendary adventures by just purchasing one bundle. It lets you journey through the story of Dragon Quest I and II separately, offering two different plots and missions. Aside from this, both stories have various characters included in their narrative. Also, if you’re into turn-based RPGs, this one is a must-try.
